Welcome

Welcome to the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (MIPLC) website.
Our LL.M. Program "Intellectual Property and Competition Law"

Only the best is good enough for those who join our LL.M. program to become leaders in practice or top educators in intellectual property law. Our faculty is composed of faculty members and researchers from outstanding universities and IP practitioners with vast professional, hands-on experience. We provide students and faculty with outstanding facilities and an inspiring working atmosphere. Besides a unique array of classes, we also offer the possibility of frequent out-of-class interactions with a large number of Ph.D. students, professors and researchers from all over the world visiting the Max Planck Institute. Students will particularly appreciate these contacts in the context of researching for their Master's Thesis.

Our Location

While challenging and intensive study is at the center of the enterprise, the city of Munich and its surroundings provide numerous opportunities to intensively use scarce free time. The Bavarian State Opera and a number of theaters and concert halls are in the immediate neighborhood of the MIPLC, and many museums and other cultural and recreational attractions are nearby. They represent the European cultural tradition at its best.

I invite you to discover more about the LL.M. program, the Center and its environment by taking a closer look at our website and by requesting additional written materials.
