Ph.D. Programs

Many of our graduates have continued their scientific careers by completing a Ph.D., either at the MIPLC or at another institution.

The MIPLC's own Ph.D. program is open to MIPLC LL.M. graduates only. We regret to be unable to accept any applications from external candidates.

The Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property, Competition and Tax Law and the International Max Planck Research School for Competition and Innovation (IMPRS-CI) offer Ph.D. programs and scholarships. Please note that the MIPLC cannot accept applications for either of these programs, or provide additional information. If you are interested in these programs, please contact MPI or IMPRS directly.
