SIPO Training Successfully Completed

A 25-member delegation from the State Intellectual Property Office of the People's Republic of China (SIPO) has successfully completed a two-week training program at the MIPLC.
The program, which was organized in the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding concluded between SIPO and MIPLC, focused on "IP Strategy and Enforcement" and consisted of lectures by MIPLC faculty, as well as visits to the European Patent Office, the German Patent and Trademark Office, the German Patent Attorneys' Association, and BMW AG. Moreover, we were very honored to welcome Vice-Consul General WANG Yanmin of the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China for the closing ceremony.

The delegation was very impressed with the high quality of the lectures given. SIPO has announced that it plans to send a new delegation next year.

The MIPLC is very honoured to have been selected by SIPO for this second training program and is looking forward to continued cooperation. We would like to thank the European Patent Office, the German Patent and Trademark Office, the German Patent Attorneys' Association, and BMW AG for their support.
