MIPLC Graduate Awarded WIPO Indigenous IP Law Fellowship

The MIPLC is proud to announce that Mr. Eliamani Laltaika, MIPLC Class of 2006/07, has been awarded the WIPO Indigenous IP Law Fellowship.
The 6-month Indigenous IP Law Fellowship has recently been launched by WIPO to respond to the "reciprocal needs for stronger capacity in the rapidly growing domain of indigenous IP law and for strengthened capacity on IP law and policy for indigenous lawyers and policy advisors." The MIPLC wishes to congratulate Mr. Laltaika, who hails from Tanzania, on his achievement. We are proud to see one of our alumni obtain such a prestigious award in this new program.
