Professor John Whealan, Associate Dean for Intellectual Property Law Studies, The George Washington University Law School (Washington, D.C.)

Dean Whealan discussed the Patent Reform Act of 2007 that is currently being debated by the United States Congress, and has been characterized by many as the most significant piece of patent legislation in the last 50 years. Prior to joining GW in May as its first Associate Dean for IP, Dean Whealan was Counsel to the Senate Judiciary Committee where he worked primarily on this bill.
