The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers a limited number of scholarships to highly qualified applicants through its "Development-Related Postgraduate Courses" (EPOS) program. As MIPLC is part of this program, applicants from developing countries can apply for these scholarships (typically six per academic year) if they meet the DAAD's eligibility criteria.
For detailed information about eligibility criteria, application instructions, and any questions you may have, please visit the DAAD EPOS website.
Applicants to the DAAD EPOS program must apply for both the DAAD scholarship and MIPLC financial assistance simultaneously during the open application period from June 1 to October 15. Recipients of the DAAD scholarship receive a full tuition fee waiver granted by MIPLC. Applications submitted during this period are considered for the academic program starting the following year.
We provide a small number of partial fee waiver scholarships at MIPLC. Each year, we receive a large number of applications for financial assistance. Thus, when making decisions on fee waiver scholarships, we strive to identify those candidates who are in the most urgent need of financial support and who have a history of outstanding academic and personal achievement.
To apply for the MIPLC Partial Fee Waiver, complete the Financial Assistance Application Form. This form is integrated into our application form. To see a sample of this form, please see the Sample MIPLC Application Forms document.
For more detailed information on how to apply and required documents, please refer to the corresponding section in the Application Instructions.
The application for admission deadline is April 30 for the following academic year and the decisions are usually taken in June.
