The Annual MIPLC Alumni Conference is a flagship event that brings together our network of over 600 alumni, current students, faculty, and MIPLC supporters. Held in Munich, it offers engaging discussions on the latest trends in IP and competition law, as well as unparalleled networking and social opportunities.
The conference is open to the broader MIPLC community, including alumni, students, faculty, the different boards, internship sponsors, employers, members of “Friends of the MIPLC, e.V.,”and other benefactors. MIPLC Lecture Series offers a platform for students, alumni, and professionals to engage with renowned scholars and practitioners on the latest developments in intellectual property law. Supported by the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition, these public lectures provide valuable insights and create opportunities for networking with experts and peers. The Alumni Stammtisch is a monthly social event exclusively for MIPLC alumni and current students, typically held on the first Thursday of each month, with occasional exceptions. This informal gathering provides a unique opportunity for alumni and students to come together, share experiences, and strengthen connections within the MIPLC community. Invitations and RSVPs are sent via email. It’s a great way to reconnect with old friends and meet new members of the MIPLC network in a relaxed setting.
The Career Talks series offers a valuable platform for distinguished MIPLC alumni and other industry professionals to share their personal experiences and unique career paths. Open to professionals in the field, MIPLC alumni, and current students, these talks provide invaluable insights into the various career trajectories within intellectual property and related fields. Attendees gain inspiration, practical advice, and networking opportunities from those who have achieved success in their respective careers.
MIPLC students have exclusive access to scientific and social events organized by the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition.
