5. Review Periods
Once we have downloaded your application from Cryptshare, the system will notify you accordingly. We will then review your application in detail and inform you whether it is complete. Depending on the point in time your application arrives, this may take from a few days to several weeks.
If your application is complete, it will be forwarded to the Admissions Committee for evaluation. Qualified applicants are admitted on a rolling basis and decisions are usually taken within two to three weeks.
If your application is incomplete and the deadline has not yet passed, you may submit the missing items; otherwise, your application cannot be considered for the upcoming intake. In light of the high number of applications, we are unfortunately not in a position to inform each applicant in detail about the items that are missing from his or her application. Please refer to the application checklist.
Fee Waiver Scholarship
Applications for the fee waiver scholarship will be evaluated for admission as described above. From all admitted applicants, we will put together a shortlist of candidates, who will be invited for a video conference interview taking place in May or June. Based on these interviews, the Admissions Committee will select the scholars in the course of June.
Applications for the DAAD scholarship will be evaluated for admission as described above. From all admitted applicants, we will put together a shortlist of candidates, who will be invited for a video conference interview taking place in January or February. Based on these interviews, the MIPLC will pre-select the scholars and the DAAD will take the final decision in early March.
